"Please take your seats and fasten your seatbelts, we are experiencing heavy turbulence" the flight attendant's voice rang out over the PA system, and the clicking of a hundred seatbelts sounded out through the cabin.
[[fasten your seatbelt]]
[[ignore the flight attendant]]You fasten your seatbelt as the whole plane begins to shake violently. Gagging noises are heard throughout the cabin as the less hardy passengers fight against their motion sickness. The plane suddenly drops. The woman sitting next to you yelps. You know how safe flying is, you're breathing through the turbulence. It's okay. The plane drops again. Anxiety slowly spreads throughout your body. "It's okay, flying is safer than driving a car" you try to whisper to yourself. The shaking is getting worse. Suddenly you hear a loud crack and an explosion. The plane jerks. You look out the window. The majority of the wing has broken off. Fire is slowly creeping up towards the main cabin. Okay, not even someone like you can stay calm in a situation like this. The flight attendants start chanting... something. Brace? You can't really hear. It sounds like they're underwater.
[[brace for impact]]
[[don't]]You roll your eyes and lean back in your seat. Gagging noises are heard throughout the cabin as the less hardy passengers fight against their motion sickness. The plane suddenly drops. "It's okay, flying is safer than driving a car" you try to whisper to yourself. The shaking is getting worse. Suddenly you hear a loud crack and an explosion. The plane jerks. You're ejected out of your seat and you slam against the ceiling. You're bleeding. Bad. Your vision swims. Last thing you hear is someone... yelling... it sounds far away...

You think it's blood.

(text-colour:red)[You died.]
[[back to the start]]You continue to walk towards the figure, ignoring their demands. Before you know it, the figure hurls a rock towards you. It smacks you right in the forehead. You stumble a bit, before collapsing into the sand.

[[back to the start]]You stop.
"Who are you?" the figure yells out
[[tell them who you are->tell them who u are injured health item]]
[[stay silent]]You tell the figure that you're a survivor from the plane. Suddenly they're charging towards you at full speed. You freak out for a split second before you recognize them - the lady that was sat next to you on the plane! She introduces herself as Felicia.
"I've been all alone for a whole day, I'm so happy to finally have found another survivor! We're gonna stick together you and I, I'm sure they've already sent out a rescue team."

You walk towards the hut. The door is weathered, and it creaks loudly as you push it open. Looks like it used to be some kind of storage hut. The floor is wooden and covered in sand. Lining the walls are old, rusty fishing rods. Maybe you could use one to catch some fish? You don't know how long you're going be stuck here after all. There's a small table with two chairs up against the far wall, sitting on top is something that looks like a radio. If it works you could maybe call for help.
[[grab a fishing rod and head to the pier]]
[[try the radio]]You take a few steps onto the pier. It creaks beneath you. It's built too low, and when the waves crash around it your legs get wet. You keep walking out. Maybe if you get far out enough you'll see a ship. You just hope they'll be able to see you too. The creaking gets worse as you get further away from shore, and before you know it, the pier is struck by a too-big wave and collapses beneath you. You try to swim, try to find the surface, but you're too disoriented.

[[stay together and try the radio]]The two of you walk towards the pier. It's long and rickety, but might be easier for ships to spot you out towards the end. Felicia suggests splitting out, she'll go out to the end of the pier and see if she can spot a ship and you'll check out the hut. Maybe there's something in there that can help you get home.
[[split up]]
[[go with her]]
Might as well do what you can to save him. He could help you get home. You drag him out of his seat and try to stop the bleeding. You never did first aid training, but you try your best anyway, and it looks like the universe is on your side as he slowly starts to open his eyes. You see it takes him a second to figure out where he is and what happened, but when he realises, his eyes go wide.
"We crashed," he says.
You nod.
"I have to call for help!"
It's probably not smart for him to shoot up the way he does, but you do kind of want him to call for help, so you let him. He grunts as he gets back into his seat and picks up a pair of headphones. He flicks a switch here, presses a button there, and it seems like he gets his radio started as he starts yelling, almost frantically, begging for help. You sink down with your back against the wall. You're so tired.
[[...->saved ending]]You decide to try and save him without the first aid kit. You never know, you might need it later. You try as hard as you can but it's futile - he dies. You walk back into the cockpit, but you don't know where anything is. There are too many buttons, too many things flashing. You'll never be able to work out which part is the radio. You give up and jump out of the plane. You turn and walk the other way. You're so thirsty. The forest gets denser and denser, branches crackle beneath your feet as you stumble through, determined to find your way home. Suddenly, the ground gives in beneath you and you're falling. The way home won't be found at the bottom of a sinkhole, you think, as your body thuds on the ground.
(text-colour:red)[You died.]
[[back to the start]]You didn't realize you had fallen asleep until a distant yell pulls you out of it. You're groggy and confused. Who's yelling? And then you hear it. The monotonous drone of a helicopter. Could it be? You shoot up off the floor and realize the pilot is gone from the cockpit. Your tired body makes its way out of the cockpit and out of the plane. Feet back on the ground, you look around to try to identify where the sound is coming from.
"Hey! Down here!"
You spot the pilot a few meters away from the plane in a bright clearing. He looks tired, the slapdash patchwork you did on his chest wound not holding as tight anymore with his incessant waving. But it doesn't matter. Because you also see a helicopter in the air making it's descent.

[[try the radio->noinventoryinjuredradio]]You take a few steps onto the pier.

[[back to the start]]You sit down on one of the chairs. You don't even know if this thing works, who knows how long it's been sitting there. It looks... old. You click a few buttons, not expecting much but suddenly, it lights up. It buzzes with barely coherent sounds, but they definitely sounds like people talking. You pick up the handheld part and press the button, as you frantically try to call for help. Hours go by. Your voice gets hoarse. Your stomach rumbles.
[[...->noinventory]]With nothing to eat, you keep trying the radio until your voice dissappears, and then you try some more. You try until you can't anymore, until you have to put your head down on the table because your stomach hurts too much. You close your eyes. They never open again.

[[back to the start]]You continue walking deeper and deeper into the forest. The sun sets behind you. You hear rustling all around you, but you can't make out what it is. You walk faster. Suddenly you hear a growl and something lunges at you.

</audio> You turn around and walk back where you came from. The forest didn't seem worth the risk. You stay by the plane. Another day turns into night. You're thirsty. No one is coming.
(text-colour:red)[You died.]
[[back to the start]]You manage to dodge out the way of the attack and you start sprinting. It growls louder and sets off after you. Seems like whatever it is loves a chase. When it finally catches up to you, you're too tired to fight back.
(text-colour:red)[You died.]
[[back to the start]]You fight back. Whatever it is, it seems determined to kill you. You're just hoping you have more stamina. You manage to grab a rock from the forest floor, and you end up striking whatever it was just right. It lets out a yelp and abandons the fight. You hear it running far away.
(text-colour:orange)[You are injured.]
